Hi, so my friend and I were putting a P.C. together for her so she could play SWToR better.  Her maximum budget was 2200, which is what we met with the follow rig.  I felt bad though because I didn't want her to have to spend the maximum amount and was hoping someone on here could recommend a way to drop the price some without losing too much performance.
I also wanted to make sure this computer would serve all her purposes for gaming and allow for good adaptability later on for upgrades in the future.
She will be using it mostly for gaming and definitely wants purple or red lighting.  She isn't really computer savy so I wanted to stick with air flow for case cooling since its easier.
We really appreciate any information or insight that can be given, thanks in advance!

Hi Edaar09...welcome to the forums...

You didn't mention monitor size or resolution you play at so I'll assume 23" monitor or less and resolution at 1920x1080 or less.  Anything more than that is a different much more expensive system.

For your friends budget the ODE 2 at $1999 is impossible to beat . Performance wise, the ODE 2 and your build are the same with the ODE actually a little better with gtx 580.
A custom config like yours, which was almost right on, with a few changes would be this and I will explain.....

config  653296  cost $2309

A custom config instaed of ODE would be to get a better power supply, the 750HX...it has a 7 year warranty and is actually more power and reliable.  Adds $41 to yours.

The A70 cooler you picked is better than the H60 in ODE 2 in my opinion.

The HAFX case you picked is tops in air cooling, but the ODE is still very good.  I have the ODE case and it works great.

I changed the lighting package to red to match the HAFX front LED fan color plus the one you picked was for H2O tubing

I took out free oc video cards...not needed.

I put in stage 2 overclocking which the i7-2600k can easily do.  Why not get the most horsepower with no negative effects.  The oc is stable.  Adds $69 to yours.
The ODE has stage 1 oc.

Now, this rig is more than you want to spend.  That's why I showed you the comparison to ODE 2.  This build is better power supply, cooler , case and motherboard, almost like your build,  but is more $$$.  But the ODE 2 is still good, plus if you up the warranty like in your build DS takes care of parts.Big%20Smile

The ODE gives you an added SSD solid state drive, gtx 580 which is a bit better than gtx 570.

A single gpu will not max out some games like BF3, but play them on high settings real smooth.

This and your rig with a 1050HX ps can sli in the future, 2 gpu, the ODE cannot because of  mobo and 800W ps,  But if you never intend on running two graphics cards then who cares.Big%20Smile

Take a look, compare this to ODE 2 and Best of Luck..Big%20SmileBig%20Smile
