Honestly, the ODE level 4 is well within your budget ($2499), and according to Anandtech's benchmarks, it should get well over 100fps on both of those games (At 2560x1600), which is likely much faster than your screen's update time, anyway.
Also, as a side note, those frame rates were done with old drivers. According to Maximum PC, the new drivers that Nvidia just released should increase that another 16%. Honestly, the ODE level 1 would probably fulfill your needs just as well as the ODE level 4 in the present, although the ODE level 4 will perform better for a lot longer. |

Hey Icebl4de.... Orange7 gives excellent advice regarding the Ode level 4. It's on the low side of your budget, it's definitely considered the most bang for the buck, and should exceed your stated needs. The Ode is in an excellent & very popular Corsair 600T case, and 2 x SLI GTX 670 2 gb video cards should be playing at high frame rates in BF3 and Black Ops for several more years. GTX 670 performance is only 5-10% less than stock GTX 680 performance, but it's far less expensive.
At the higher end of your budget, if you wanted to see an example of a bit higher performance & perhaps even a little more future proofing, here is a pricier Dreadnought build on the X79 Sabertooth motherboard with a 6 core i7 3930k CPU for $1,100 more than the Ode level 4. That gets you a set of 2 x SLI GTX 680 factory overclocked 2 GB video cards, a blue ray reader, bigger power supply, and a little better WD Cav Black storage drive in a taller roomier HalfX case known as the top airflow chasis... Has a large side window fan for keeping the graphics cards very cool..
