God, I'm feeling old and obsolete. As far as I can tell there's no way to hook a printer with a Centronics interface to of these new fangled 680i SLI mohterboards. Good thing it's got USB ports coming out the Wazoo, and my LASER printer has both.

USB headsets have better quality sound compared to an integrated sound card.
If you have a $300 dedicated sound card, the analog inputs would be better. ~-~ I would rather invest $100 into a usb headset than a $300 sound card & $1000 surround sound setup, since I really can't tell the difference between sound quality =( Edited by skyR - 25 Sep 2007 at 9:07pm |

Some people just have better ears than others =p
I owned a pair of those for 2 months. Wasn't very comfortable and one of the ear pieces stopped working cause the wires got loose =( I use the steelsound 5h now. |

on the comfort level I agree with you.
I work at a hospital so I "borrowed" some soft tape and made my own ear cushions. Doesn't bother me much even after a few hours of wearing them, just kinda leaves my glasses at an awkward angle.

If playing CSS or COD for several hours straight then I should say so...
 On the one side the cushion is some cotton with tape on it, and the other side is some beige tape stuck together then wrapped around and taped in position. Basically the headset is comfy but lopsided and i have to put my frames ontop so they tend to lean up on the right side.
So I would think I look sexy, in a mentally challenged sort of way.

Also after I got the headset, I spoke/played to/with a few buddies who have the other one I was considering and noticed that they're a few bucks cheaper, alittle bit painful, but apparently have better sound.
