Topic: Geforce 1080 Drivers Posted: 22 Nov 2017 at 12:53pm |
My sound has been strange lately and I was getting low fps on Shadow of War so I downloaded some drivers and it fixed my popping sound and gave me about 15-20 fps more which is great. I restarted my computer and the problems are back. I think the drivers reverted. Why would this happen? Any advice on how to fix it? Thanks in advanced.

Nvidia Geforce 1080 drivers, the most recent ones. I saw immediate positive impact upon installation but a reboot of my computer made them moot. Never seen anything like that before.
The sound issues are constant yeah and are definitely driver related as the problems went away but then I made the mistake of restarting my computer. Edited by scotthedge12 - 22 Nov 2017 at 7:04pm |

I don't think your driver changed, look at your driver version, what version is it?

That’s strange. Try installing new drivers using the clean install option to get rid of the old files.
