I guess the 32GB of RAM is required for work? If not, 16, or even 8 GB is perfectly fine for gaming.

The bigfoot netcard has a reputation for not necessarily being the most reliable. I was recommended the AN-6300 instead, and after doing some research, I would recommend the 6300 as well.

If you dropped the RAM, you really have no purpose for anything but Home Premium, so I modified that as well.

Chose the 8GB RAM option, and the 500GB HDD option because there's currently a free upgrade to 16GB and 750GB. Might as well take advantage of it.

Chassis Model: Digital Storm x17 Laptop (Model: 9170)
Display: 17.3 Inch (16:9) (Resolution: 1920 x 1080) (Glossy Surface) LED-Backlit Display
Processor: Intel Core i7 3820QM (2.7 GHz Turbo Mode to 3.7Ghz) (Quad Core) (8MB Cache)
Thermal Compound: Premium IC Diamond CPU and GPU Thermal Compound (Reduces Thermal & Laptop Noise)
Memory: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
Primary Hard Drive: Intel 240GB SSD (520 Series) (SATA 6Gb/s)
Secondary Hard Drive: 500GB 7200RPM (SATA 3Gb/s)
Optical Drive: Blu-Ray Player (Blu-Ray 6x) & DVD/CD Writer
Wireless Card: Intel Ultimate-N 6300 Wireless LAN Module
Video Card(s): NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M 4GB with NVIDIA Optimus Technology
Windows OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-Bit Edition)
Warranty Plan: Life-time Expert Customer Care with 5 Year Limited Warranty

Price as listed is $3,094.

Again, if you need 32 GB of RAM for work, all good. However, I'd recommend choosing the 24GB option, because it will receive a free upgrade to 32.
