Hi everyone!

I'm new to forums but not too gaming. After a decade of being a console gamer I have decided to ascend and join the PC gaming crowd :D

My order is on backlog but I got a pretty sweet build:

Processor: Intel Core i9-13900KS (6.0 GHz Turbo) (32-Thread) (24-Core) 3.2 GHz (Raptor Lake)
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Maximus Z790 Hero (Wi-Fi) (Z790) (Up to 3x PCI-E) (No SLI) (DDR5)
System Memory: 64GB DDR5 6000MHz Kingston FURY Beast RGB
Power Supply: 1500W Corsair HX1500i (Modular) (80 Plus Platinum)
Storage Set 1: 1x SSD M.2 (4TB Kingston Fury Renegade) (NVM Express)
Optical Drive: External USB - Blu-Ray Writer & Player (Blu-Ray 6x) & DVD/CD Writer
Internet Access: High Speed Network Port (Supports High-Speed Cable / DSL / Network Connections)
Graphics Card(s): 1x GeForce RTX 4090 24GB (VR Ready)
Sound Card: Integrated Motherboard Audio
Extreme Cooling: H20: Stage 3: Digital Storm Vortex Liquid CPU Cooler (Triple Fan) (Fully Sealed + No Maintenance)
Cable Management: Exotic Cable Management - Yellow - (Cable Combs with Custom Color Sleeved Extension Cables)
Internal Lighting: Remote Controlled Advanced LED Lighting System (Multiple RGB Color Modes)
Chassis Fans: Cooler Master MasterFan Halo (RGB Fans) (Remote Control Only)
CPU Boost: Turbo Boost Advanced Automatic Overclocking
OS Boost: Yes, Disable and tweak all of the non-crucial services on the operating system
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Home (64-Bit)
Recovery Tools: USB Drive - Windows Installation (Format and Clean Install)
Virus Protection: Windows Defender Antivirus (Built-in to Windows)

I can't wait to play on this rig :) I'm going to do v-r and play a lot of Total War Warhammer 3! No more subpar gaming laptops (looking at you Legion)

I hope everyone is having a great day :)

Welcome to DS and congrats on that config you came up with. That is some nice and strong system.  I would order the same (mine is getting old) but with the Noctua and go all air. It will handle the 13900KS as well as the AIO. You don't need the OS boost but....

Enjoy.

The OS boost is a nothing-burger. Don't waste.
