It is exciting to see the stages move. I love getting the update emails from Digital Storm. When I ordered, 6 weeks was my estimated ship date. So it should be pretty close.

My orders were processed 5/29 still on stage 2 they just keep on pushing back the shipment dates. Apparently it’s going to ship tomorrow but I’m still on stage 2 😕

Give them a call. They answered when I called and they helped me understand what parts they were waiting on.

I definitely feel you, went from stage 2 and 3 in 1 day and have been constantly checking my email every day almost and praying

I paid for next day but they shipped it 3 day ground and fed ex had problems so took even longer to get it.

NOW I have it and it looks great...BUT i think they gave me the wrong MB. I ordered the Z490 WIFI and of course there is NO wifi. So i have a nice computer that i cant connect to the internet. I sure hope they call me back ASAP to verify.

Not excited anymore...been too painful of a process. Over 6 WEEKS and wrong shipping and wrong MB? Not sure how that is possible?

Nope. I have limited knowledge but you need a WiFi chip to be able to connect to wifi, and not every motherboard comes with it.

For DS in particular, when building and picking a mobo it says if there is a wifi with "WiFi" being listed.

Otherwise you need to select a wifi chip seperately.

I had to get a WiFi chip as well, so I hope this doesn't happen to me. Been waiting a long time for a PC, would suck if it had no WiFi x.x

Yea I realized that , my router is upstairs so I had to upgrade my motherboard to one with wifi integrated

Got a call over the weekend that I was wrong and that the motherboard that was installed includes WIFI.

Called this morning and show them pictures and they then agreed that they did put in the wrong MB. I have been working in IT for 26 years. Its not that hard to compare the back of MBs on the internet.

So now i wait for someone else to call to tell me what they are going to do to remedy the situation. My guess they will want me to just accept the refund for the difference. But I want what I paid over 2700 for. I dont want to have to go by a WIFI adapter and have something hanging off my PC. Also this MB does not do Bluetooth....UUGGHHH. I want what I paid AND WAITED 6 weeks for. I think that is fair.

I'm sorry you had to go through all that.. It does sound really horrible and I wouldn't want anyone to go through that.. I really hope they'll make this right and hopefully my build doesn't get messed up. Honestly a little worried now.

The mistake was made due to an error on the configurator listing it as the Wi-Fi model when we were actually carrying the non-WiFi model. This was corrected a while ago on the website but Bat21's order was one of the first before it was changed and the error was caught.

Our customer service team did contact Bat21 and we arranged to send a Bluetooth/WiFi 6 PCI-e add-in card that would give better performance than the built in motherboard would have had.

That's good to hear, I would take the PCI-e add-in card which would've served as good as or even better. Reassuring that Bat21 is being taken care of. Although the shipping mistake is worrisome. If it's shipped with ground when it was supposed to be shipped next day air, is that refunded? Hoping my order gets shipped within this week.

Thank You Digital Storm Team. They came up with a good solution for me and I am VERY happy with the customer service. In all businesses mistake happen, but if the company works with their customers all works out in the end.
