Greetings, I am experiencing a problem on Steam since last night which I am unable to solve. I am getting this error "A connection to the VAC servers could not be made" from Steam.

Has anyone encountered such kind of issue before? Please help

This is a Steam error. Contact Steam Support. There are many reasons your account could be having issues with the Valve Anti-Cheat 'bots. It's up to you and them to figure it out.

After posting the thread here, I started searching online and found This article. I followed some useful methods from there. First I repaired the service and then disabled the antivirus (MacAfee). Finally reinstalled Steam. After completing the methods perfectly, I had no longer any issues. I was not getting any error message.

Glad you got it working! Steam VAC stuff can be wonky at the best of times.
