Hey guys,
Nvidia is releasing some pretty powerful new cards. The GF 100. My friend pre-ordered one for 1800 british pounds :) |

yep been out for a while..
$499 for the top dog that is about $340 pounds.. unless he is getting the workstation quadros, they are closer to 1800 pounds, but not for gaming, and they have been out longer yet.

I hope this is a joke...if it is then it's a really funny joke. If not....I hope by gaming you mean designing games.

The GF100 was the code name for Fermi during development, IE the 480gtx and the 470gtx. Currently no gaming graphics card costs more than ATI's 5970. If you're talking about getting a Nvidia Quadro FX brand graphics card they can exceed 3500$ one card, however the cards themselves and the drivers are not optimized for gaming and would preform quite poorly. I believe the code or production name for the new line of Quadro cards is GT200, not 100% sure though.
