Glass side shattered on fairly new computer

So, I'm not a hardware person, and have never had a glass side on a computer before. Bought the Lynx comoputer. The side doesn't seem warm, but was just sitting playing skyrim, not moving, nothing moving at all in the apartment, and CRACK! suddenly the panel just shattered. There's about 8 inches of clearance on that side, but it's towards the wall.

It's pretty fragile feeling, and I'll have to move it out to get to the screws, should I just leave it? Ask for a new one? Ask for a metal side?

and I can now verify the poking out bits are SHARP. Going to get a bandage.

Bummer!    Bad batch of Chinese glass perhaps.    First I have heard here of a Lynx tempered glass panel shattering.    You will need to contact DS Support and ask for a replacement panel to be sent out.     Sounds like the back or right side facing a wall, so at least that’s good...
