I have been a member of these forums since 2009. My current PC is over 6 years old and is on its last legs. It has a I9-9900X CPU and came with 2 RTX 2080Ti GPUs. A few years ago, I upgraded the graphics to a single RTX 3080Ti. I am a Vietnam vet, and my only source of income is Social Security.

I have a 4k gaming monitor so I need a system like above to drive it.

I am looking to raise 5K towards the purchase of this new PC.

Hi Brian,

We appreciate your service. I hope you get your goal. Maybe posting in other websites you frequent will speed up the collection.

That said, it is a new modality for this site and brings up an interesting idea. Maybe DS could open an account for donations where we can direct/specify who the donations are for. I can come up with various forum members that would welcome such a process.
