Going from Vista 32bit to Windows 7 64bit

My old system is running Vista 32bit, my new system will be running Windows 7 64bit.  Please tell me in detail what the diffrents is and what kinds of problems(if any) I could run into.  The only thing I know is I can use over 3gb ram with 64 bit.
 
Will I have problems running older software?
Will games run diffrently?

64 bit can't run 16 bit apps, and maybe some very old apps.

Nvidia Drivers----AMD Drivers
