I bought a Lynx build with core i7 and rtx 3070. the pc itself works well, doesn't overheat and has fast performance. It wasn't until a few months after I got the pc that my power supply's fan started making noise. So, I got to cleaning the pc with compressed air, as you would, only to find that the power supply has no dust filter. I know it's not exactly necessary, but considering it's an intake, and the build itself ran me about 2300 bucks.... it feels like a middle finger in the face of the consumer. I've found someone that's willing to open it up and really clean the psu's fan, but it shouldn't be an issue to begin with. Good Computer. but the intake psu fan not having a dust filter is honestly ridiculous on a build like this.

Edit: For some reason I can't change the star rating, but I'd say it's at least a 3 or 4 star build. but, again, the psu not having a dust filter while being an intake is ridiculous.

I have a much, much older machine than you do. My PSU filter is actually built into the bottom of the case. Are you saying the lynx case doesn't have one?

It's got a grate, but not an actual filter. Holes are too big to be considered a filter of any sort. But it has indentations on it that look like it's where a filter was supposed to be

Get in touch with DS. If there was supposed to be a filter there, they will send you one. If you have any trouble getting in touch, send an e-mail to [email protected].

Lots of popular PC cases out there without dust filters of any kind, no less a filter on the bottom PSU intake. Lynx are great DS rigs, but dust filters on everything at that affordable price point is just not reasonable to expect. You'll be fine...just will need to clean your rig a bit more often is all.   Set a dusting schedule and stick to it.

If the system is on the floor it will gather more dust than if placed higher. There are many inexpensive fine mesh filters you can add if you feel they are needed.

Also, don't let anyone open up the psu to clean. Never heard of that being done and it could potentially be very dangerous.
