Hello all,

I am going to be purchasing a Vanquish 7 Level 4 PC soon, and I'm trying want to find a good monitor to match. My question is will the following be a good match?:

MSI Full HD Gaming Red LED Non-Glare Super Narrow Bezel 1ms 2560 x 1440 144Hz Refresh Rate FreeSync 32” Curved Gaming Monitor (Optix AG32CQ)

(Level 4 has GeForce RTX 2070 8GB)

If you have other suggestions for monitors for comparable price and specs, I would appreciate it also.

that monitor is for a AMD card, so i'd reccomend something else because you wont get the full potential out of that one

FreeSync is the AMD equivalent to Nvidia's G Sync tech. G Sync synchronizes refresh rates with the GPU to eliminate "tearing" and minimize stutter and lag. FreeSync does the same thing, but only for AMD cards. Unfortunately, of the two, G sync adds some extra cost to the monitor.

The RTX 2070 is considered the card to have for 1440p. It's not going to give you max on absolutely everything; there are always going to be a handful of games that are poorly coded for video response. But it will perform at top end most of the time. So a 1440p is what you want. Look up G synch and see if you think it's somehting you can live without. The FreeSync ability of a monitor will just not come into play with your RTX 2070.

The 1ms response time shows that one to be a TN panel, which means it won't be quite so vibrant as an IPS, and it won't be viewable from the side very well. Google those two techs to learn about them.
