My mom said we would do the $/month type of buying and she said the budget was $80/month. That’s huge. I’m planning on getting the Lumos. Should I?

Thanks.

My advice? Stick with the Vanquish 7 Level 4. A little less expensive... that way you can show mom that you're willing to work within her budget and then, perhaps, have a couple extra dollars for really good peripherals.

That's just advice. You do you and get what you think is best for you.

At highest in game settings you’ll get 60 FPS on a lot of games but not all.   By turning settings down a bit you can play pretty much anything out there.     You don’t need the highest settings and 60 FPS to have great gaming.

What resolution is 1080x2140?

I know 2560x1080 for UW 1080p gaming.  The little brother to 3440x1440.  But I can't say I've ever seen a 1080x2140 resolution.

That's solid advice bro, best thing you can do is show mom that you appreciate her helping out, but that you're willing to step to the plate and show some responsibility. When parents see there kids manage to save money, it usually means alot and theyll have more trust in you, which will open doors to bigger things. Good luck with everything, keep us up to date.
You can do it!

Any update on what's going on with getting your system? I'm looking into building a new custom gaming system myself. My last one I put together a few years ago, she's still doing good but I feel it's time to get rid of her and start a new project. I didn't have liquid cooling on the last one.. that's the goal for the update do coming.
