Ordered on july 1st and arrived today the 18th, shipping was 7 days. Excellent turn around time. I'll post some pics tomorrow its been a very long day. The box was in good condition and everything was well packaged, though it must have taken a spill at some point as one HD4870 was dislodged, three thumb screws holding the GPU's in were rattling about, and 2 screws from the motherboard were also dislodged. Back panel of the case has a slight bend in it making me think it might have gotten dropped in shipping. Got everything seated back in and the screws replaced (luckily the motherboard screws that were out were very apparant and I didnt have to dig around).

This girl looks sweet, I had no idea it was going to be this big, space galore. Love the case very easy access to get at what I needed to get to. The sapphire HD 4870's look awesome too as well as the motherboard, tons of copper heatsinks on it.

Couple of questions as I havnt hooked it up yet, (as I said long day) when I hook up my monitor do I hook it to a GPU or to the MOBO as its crossfire? (never had two graphics cards before) Second, I got the overclock on the ram but theres no ram fan like it says in the configurator... I had DS use 2x2 gig sticks instead of 4x1 gig and I'm wondering if that is why.

I'll post more on it tomorrow as well as some pictures. Test out these HD 4870's and see how bad ass this girl is.

Yeah its a great case, and things have changed so much since i built my last rig, couldnt believe the size of the heatsink and fan on the cpu...crazy. And yeah its very possible the metal back just isnt meant to be staright as an arrow, just thought that because getting that card back in and putting the screws back in took a lil work so it musta had a hard landing to pop it out.

you hook it into the primary card which would be the top card.

Figured out the display problem and got that fixed. Now need to update the drivers to get the cards to run cooler.

Discovered I have no software for this tarantula keyboard or the extra lil macro button caps, or documentation. For some reason I cant enter bios during post, not sure if its a keyboard issue or what.

q9550 overclocked to 3.2... I might have to ask some advice on playing with that.

Yeah no dice on that, I tap delete like a woodpecker and it just goes past it. I'll have to see if I can borrow another wired keyboard because the only other I have is a wireless.

There aren't any updated drivers for the 4800 series cards yet. ATI has a hotfix, but it doesn't address heat issues. There is a fan fix here:  http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?p=4272339#post4272339

It's a manual fix, but I set mine to 45%, (the fan starts getting loud at 50% for me), and automatic. It ramps up despite what the original post says. If it doesn't work, then switch to manual.
