curious on what gpu or gpu's i would need to achieve 2560x1600 res, and also whats a good monitor for that as well

1. Dual SLI 570's at least for that res, although perhaps Dual SLI 560's now that the 560 is out.
2. Newegg.com is a great place to start looking for monitors, although a lot of people would recommend going into a local electronic store to see the finish and different picture qualities of each monitor in person.

Depends what games you want to play, but mostly sli 570 IMO or sli 560 but oced well, it all depends what type of games you want to play.

when getting a monitor, look for an ips panel, ips has the best picture quality, and because of that they are more expensive, but here is a great one Dell UltraSharp U3011 30", This is a 30" IPS panel monitor, that has 2560 x 1600 res, this is a sweet monitor.

depending on the game, you may need tri sli.

ya thnx DST, my budget is roughly 4500 w/ everything, and ill be strictly gaming w/ this rig. my games are WoW, CoD, and resident evil atm. but really any mmo or rpg w/ some shooters here and there. ive been fumbling on a config but really not sure, dont really plan on upgrading tht much in the future but mayb a little. any config's u have in mind for me? any help would be awesome!
 
   i guess gameing at 1900x1200 wouldnt be to bad right now, and mayb upgrade my monitor down the road, but want to know tht i have the gpu power if i intend to.
