Depends on what you're wanting to accomplish. If you are building a computer mostly for gaming, you overspent by about $500 on a CPU/motherboard combo that does not do gaming as well as an i7-10700K. The RTX 2070 SUPER is a very fine GPU, but whether it's quite right for you depends upon what monitor resolution you have.

Then have a look at this:
https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i9-10920X-vs-Intel-Core-i7-10700K/m931866vs4070 The X series of CPUs are not meant to be used in gaming machines. Much slower, yet waaayy more expensive. The fact 10900Ks are not available just now is not significant at all. A side-by-side comparison shows the 10900k to be no more than 3% "better" than a 10700K. But better is not really true since the extra cores and threads do nothing at all for gaming and streaming. You are much better off saving the money. A 10700K will likely be a strong gaming part for 6-8 years or more. At this point in time, it's way overpowered. Isn't that what we all want for future-proofing? Pair a 10700K with an Asus Tuf mobo, and I bet you save somewhere around $500. Performance will go up 11% before any overclock. In case you didn't, get an NVMe SSD for your primary drive. They are up to 5 TIMES faster than SATA SSDs. |

I appreciate this a lot! If I’m still in a stage one of my order, would I be able to make changes like that?
