As soon as I exit any game after playing it for a decent amount of time I can hear an audible buzz coming from my gpu. The buzzing sound will last about 3-4 secs then goes away. Is this normal for my evga rtx 2060 super sc?

Probably your fan that got cranked up during the game session. After exiting the game, the GPU load decreased, temps went down and the fan was no longer needed. I hear some momentary fan noise on my RTX 2070 Super after exiting DCS.

I'm quite sure it's not the fan but the coil itself that I hear as soon as I exit the game. Wondering if this is an issue or is it just normal for my type of gpu etc

So I read up on this, and it appears it ("coil whine") can be a thing with your brand of card (and others). But here's some info: it can be temporary while the card is "bedding in", and can go away or diminish over a few weeks. It seems to be minimal for you and is a common problem that can be a lot worse (like audible all the time).

One guy said EVGA will take the card back under warranty, but I don't know that. What I do know is that it's common enough a new card could have the same issue only worse. Then I don't know what you could do.

If it goes away after "3-4 secs", I'd probably just leave it. You can talk to EVGA and see what they say. If they swear up and down they will send you a replacement that won't have that issue, that'd be great, but I'm not sure they could tell you that.

Just Google it, and check it out yourself. You may agree yours isn't much of a thing.

FWIW my 780 Ti (EVGA) did this back in the day. After several months it stopped doing it and never did it again. Had no further issues with that card, until it suddenly died 4 years later that is. Big%20Smile
