Looking to upgrade from my gtx 1060 6gb to a rtx 2070, unfortunately I know nothing about which gpu setup to pick so if anyone can help me narrow down the one I'd greatly appreciate it. Open to suggestions as well.
Specs - (https://imgur.com/a/hBvV2vF) Gpu's I'm considering 1.(https://www.newegg.com/evga-geforce-rtx-2070-super-08g-p4-3071-kr/p/N82E16814487456) 2. (ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 2070 Super Mini 8GB GDDR6 256-Bit 14Gbps Gaming Graphics Card, IceStorm 2.0, Super Compact, Zt-T20710E-10M https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XSPWMP9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_EH04DbF9M71XV) |

IMHO, EVGA is the way to go. Very solid brand.

Just be aware, some have coil whine, so test it well as soon as you receive it and RMA it if you need to.

Appreciate the help,I'm running the stock 600w DS power supply, should I look into getting something better to support the gpu and if so what should I go with?

I would also recommend EVGA for the GPU.
The very best air cooled 3 fan RTX 2070 GPU are the EVGA RTX 2070 Super FTW3 Ultra Gaming... Very effective huge heatsink to keep things way cool! PSU...Assuming you are in an ATX sized DS case... The Corsair HX850 or HX850i 850W Modular Platinum Efficiency PSU's would be a great long term upgrade...or the Gold Efficiency Corsair RM850i... All 3 carry long Corsair 10 yr PSU warranties. |

Looks like I'm sticking with the EVGA thanks for the advice. Is the RM850x, 850 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified a contender as well? Trying to save a little if possible, wont be running 2 gpu's.

The 600W PSU you have will be fine for the new GPU. A new stronger one is a fine idea, but keep in mind you will have to rewire the entire build on your own. If you're up for it, totally cool!

Great thanks for letting me know, I'll just stick with my current psu as long as I don't run into any issues.

Hey guys sorry to bother you again but I got my 2070 yesterday and ran into a issue when installing it. Apparently you need to run a 6 and 8 pin pcie cable unlike my 1060 that only needed a 6 pin. So what do I do in this situation because DS only gave me that one 6 pin cable? Do I just buy a 8 pin and connect it to the psu or is there something else I need to do? Look on the back side of your case...should find an 8-Pin PCIE power cable probably there somewhere flex tied out of the way.

I'm dumb lol the single cable has a additional 6 + 2 pcie on it, this whole time I thought there would be another cable with just a 8 pin on it
