So I'm using an HDTV as my monitor currently. I quite enjoy it, but my computer-to-be being actually non-sucky has me wondering on how I should connect them together.

Currently, I'm just using a DVI -> VGA connector, as my TV has no DVI input. Would swapping it to a miniHDMI -> HDMI cable (GTX 570) offer an improvement in quality in any way?

I suppose I could do that, too. I have a friend who had issues with the DVI -> HDMI stuff from his video card, though that was a while ago and I imagine not applicable in this case.

I do that with one of my pcs, and no problems, my tv for example comes out hdmi and then goees into an hdmi to dvi adaptor, then the dvi goes to the gpu on the pc.
