Found this just before I took off to work.  Thought some of you guys here might like the read, I did heh.
 
 
The new 1 Gig 8800GTS sounds great :) 
Comes out Dec. 3 I guess, which is about when I'll be ordering a new rig from here.

Currently I see no reason to buy any other card other than the GT(either version) until the 9 series/3000 series cards start coming out. The price is excellent for the amount of power you'll receive.
 
Although it does appear that the GTX is next in line for a refresh, the price will still be in the $500-600 range. What would be the point of paying for that now when they'll be putting out a 9000GTX in several months for nearly the same price?
