It allows you to install all of the basic programs on your new computer without having to go get them all individually.

The Installer Ninite creates will find the newest version of the selected programs, download them, and install them without you having to do all the repetitive steps for each install.

Steps to use Ninite:

Check box next to each program you want installed on your computer.
Click the "Get Installer" button at the bottom of the page.
Put installer on flash drive/dropbox/etc for access on new computer.
Put installer on new computer and run the exe.

You can run the Installer once a month after the initial install. It will then look up the newest version of the program installed and update them (while skipping over the already up-to-date programs).

It will install each program to the default drive. So if you have a smaller SSD, I would install programs like iTunes, Spotify, or Dropbox individually to put them on the larger drive.
