I thought long and hard about the next pc I wanted. I'm retiring and selling my business and had authorization form the little woman to buy whatever gaming machine I wanted: Falcon, Blackbird, Voodoo..... . Yeah, she got a car.

So I've checked and looked at all the boutique gaming machine venders. They all have positives. I ordered the machine Friday.

I went w Digital Storm. Yep. Reasons?

1) Versatility.. they'll make it your way
2) Great package of service. Great reviews everywhere
3) Concern. Just check this forum. This company tries hard
4) Salesmanship..they make it it look good and smell good
5) I wanted some modifications not listed. No problem
6) Excitement on phone, they were happy I called and interested in my souped up request

I really feel embarrassed to say what I ordered as some will say I'm bragging which is a neg trait in my family.

It is the big one. big cpu, big sli, raid, Killer network, water cooled, big case painted custom GREEN. I'm receiving emails to update the progress of this machine and I am at stage 2.

When It comes in, and I did not rush the time variable, I will fill in the rest of the story. I feel younger already like a kid anticipating a trip to Six Flags.

So Cool; thats what I did when I had some money; I bought my daughter a Car and myself a Rig; to me the Rig is better than any car I could buy for myself.  Plus I get to use my Daughters car if I want too and I have my Killer Rig too.

The wait is worth every minute; cant wait to see it; make sure to post some pics when it gets to you!!

Please post pics when you get it. IMO, it isn't bragging. Many of the people on this forum love technology, and look forward to seeing a truly high end system digitized.

Personally, I really like seeing the rigs that get built, especially builds I was able to help with in some small way, but also more exotic builds like the one ed1371 had built a while back (and from the sound of it, the one you're waiting for).

Guess I'm one of those who love seeing great machines! Please post pics when you can! I'm not into the hardcore machines myself, but I love looking at em. I love the organic look that liquid cooling adds to a serious rig! It has that gee whiz ultra cool factor that goes off the scales heheh. I'm a sucker for fancy packaging... Embarrassed

Green. Life, leaves, limes. I like green. The colors DS offers of red and blue are bright and shiny. I thought green in the same tense would be hip.

This shade of green w a black interior.

I love that shade of green. I tend to prefer darker shades, and some shades that tend towards blue (one of those chameleon type automotive paint jobs running from green into blue would be amazing IMO), but that is a very nice color selection.
