Hello everyone, this past two weeks have been crazy for us. The holiday shopping season and us moving to a new facility caused some issues where some things fell in-between cracks but, I am just stating here for everyone to know that we are now online. Just to give everyone an idea of what we just did:
Testing Area: Our new testing area is three times larger than the old building. Each testing spot now has a special tracker so we can keep track of orders and their current phase throughout our testing procedures. This allows us to better track orders and prioritize systems that have been here the longest.
Dedicated Teams: We now have teams that are dedicated to a single task so they are able to focus on one area only versus people with multiple hats. This takes care of confusions and misunderstandings.
Phase Testing: All of our builds are now first bench tested. That means, your order is first put together, BIOS updates, overclocking, and testing is all done on a test bench. If we have a hardware failure, we are able to do replacements right away and re-test the unit. In the old method, the system would have to go in a queue to go to assembly so they could take out the hardware, replace it, and re-wire it again. This saves us a lot of time. After the unit passes all bench testing, it goes into assembly where the unit is put together with care and sent back to final testing and then QA.
Phone System: We have more lines in our phone system. We moved to a new IP phone system. Callers can how listen to music properly while on hold. The system allows customers the option to wait for a customer service rep so they may be helped instead of being sent to a voicemail.
That's just a brief idea of what we have done. There are many more minor tweaks that we implented. We basically looked at customer complaints and what was wrong and how we could resolve them. I thank everyone for waiting through this process, and we are all looking forward for a great year ahead. We can now properly scale operations without having to pass delays and issues to our customers. This new system allows us to truly better service our customers. I know the two weeks were hectic, but, everything is now smooth sailing.

Glad to hear!
You might want to scale the volume of that "on hold" music back a little. It was obnoxiously loud the last time I called The good news is that I only had to hear it for about 8 seconds before someone picked up! |

Well, I responded to an email from you late on Friday Alex. Hopefully on Monday you can check on my order and get back to me with how it's fitting into the New and Improved System. I'm hoping it won't be delayed too much longer.

Very positive sounding changes. The "Phase Testing" in particular should help to avoid misunderstandings, and delays.
Is this to be integrated so that a customer service or sales representative can track a build's progress with a keystroke, rather than "go out on the floor"?
Also with regard to online order status updates, are there plans to improve upon the customer service link through this site?

I'm glad to hear you have a new facility to work out of on your hands, it's always nice getting an upgrade in life isn't it! Question though, while moving (and I don't know if this happened prior) but when attempting to build a custom PC and then selecting either save config or buy config there is ALWAYS an error that pops up preventing you from doing this online. Other than that, keep up the awesome work guys!

Specialized, dedicated teams can be great, but a system where people are still used to wearing multiple hats is useful too in that your company quickly builds up an immense amount of institutional knowledge.
These all sound like good implementations though - congratulations. Chris |

Thanks for the updates on your efforts. I was getting a little worried about my order after reading a lot of stories of unhappy customers. I'm sure things will still happen from time to time, but looks like a positive direction. I used to build my own, but I got tired of it and prefer to have someone else invest the time and I'll just handle the tweaking and upgrades as time goes on.
