OK, this might be a stupid question. What's the difference between the NVIDIA EVGA GeForce GTX 480, and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480?

@DeltaW, I actually asked this same question earlier on my build config journey. From what i've been told is that the NVIDIA Geforce is 'better'? But another thing to note is that the EVGA has the step-up program.... I don't have any spec comparisons, but I personally went with EVGA version...

Patrick - thanks. So EVGA is a company that sells graphics boards and mother boards. I'm not sure how valuable the step up program is, since there's only a 90 day window from date of purchase. Did I get that right? Thanks again.

/nod. tbh in regards to your original inquiry I believe it just comes down to personal preference, fundamentally its the same GPU chip in each card just different manufacturers. Good luck on your decision.
