It's usually been consistent when I play BF3 the temps for one 670 card is about 77 degrees C and other is about 70 degrees C

but today I noticed one card stayed at 31 degrees C, while the other one was at it's normal operating temp at 77 degrees C for BF3.

why is that, that's the first I've noticed that. I used CPUID to check temps and confirmed the readings with Corsair Link.

Make sure SLI is still enabled. Sounds to me that you are only utilizing one card. Ensure both cards show up on your system, I have had a card drop away due to EVGA and their software.

Sounds like either SLI turned itself off in Nvidia Panel, the second card isn't being taxed or the sensor is wrong.  If gaming isn't taken a hit in performance then could just be a card sensor.   Can't really say for sure.

Thank you, it was - that is really weird? I had to Enable 3D performance to get SLI on, even though I have no 3D games.

I think it turned off when I upgraded the NVIDIA software over the weekend to 320.18 iirc?
