you are now comparing 2 different tests from 2 different tests and testing environment. talk about stretching it.
once graph is from one test and environment and the other graph is from a completely different test. Edited by Alex - 22 Jan 2009 at 12:08pm |

Honestly who cares which is faster... This forum isn't meant to be used for personal attacks..
Besides....With all the variables involved, it makes it very hard to tell which setup is better.

When ever you have a test in the same actual and not imaginary environment of in game play then come back and we will see.
Price always matters, you have to see how much it costs to achieve that performance. Edited by DST4ME - 22 Jan 2009 at 4:29am |

honestly the 3 x 285 costs more so it should beat it but its gonna be around 10 fps at most, but if its gonna cost more then it should beat it, can't say I'm not surprised, I would like to see a few more in games tests from different sites to see what others show.

Trying my best to stay out of this fight...
I too am interested in seeing real game benchmarks that compare tri-sli 285's vs. quad-sli 295's. Let's hope some website does this soon. |

To the moderators...
Wouldn't you think there needs to be some sort of basic platform on these forums that requires any poster to hold a certain, even if minimal, amount of respect while responding to others posts? It really is disgusting to read this type of banter that goes back and forth here. It's disrespectful and adds nothing to the point. I don't come here that often anymore simply because I've made my purchase and everything is working well for me. However, it's quite disheartening to come here and read this kind of garbage that's being spewed out in this thread. I've always considered this to be a professional outfit and I would think that would spill over into these forums also. It seems that DTS4ME is handling himself fine but reading this from my perspective really leaves a lot to be desired. The personal attacks are unnecessary and uncalled for, and quite frankly, I think that a moderator should have come into this a while back and lain some boundaries. Just my two cents from a concerned customer. Edited by EdH63 - 22 Jan 2009 at 11:40am |

Ed,
Thank you for your professional response.
I just had a chance to look at this today, and immediately took care of it. This thread was flagged by a forum member.
To be quite honest, personal attacks and so fourth are not attitudes that Digital Storm allows here on the forums. Consider this a waning, the second time I see it, there will be a suspension or a ban.
I understand users are trying to express their views, but, they need to be professional, and back the evidence with proof from controlled environments.
Warm Regards,
Alex
