An amazing tech demo from Square Enix to portray 'crying'. This is an in game shot and is pretty amazing. Who's system did they use?

Definitely! It's actually part of Microsoft's massive BUILD event they held recently. They reached out to us to get an AVENTUM to power the demo.

I haven't played FF since FF IX but I am definitely looking forward to June 23 when FF XIV Heavensward is released. They came out with a FF benchmark a couple years ago using DirectX 9C and just updated that to use DirectX 11 with video features like HBAO+. It's not DirectX12 but the graphics compared to FFIX blew me away! This is not your normal benchmark as it uses characters and scenes from the game and you can even make your own char or use one you play with in game now. This is fantastic! I was, admittedly, a bit disappointed that DS, or the machine, wasn't mentioned in the video or comments. But then again, there is two very good pictures of that glorious machine in the video. Discerning 'puter geeks will find out who made that beauty, but the general public might miss it. |
