i have a basic question...in my build i'm trying to keep the case 'mid size' so have chosen the 922. i also need a card reader, and the site says that when i select a card reader 2 of the front usb ports are disabled. the pix of the 922 on the ds website i think show an installed card reader with two usb ports on top of the front. my question is whether those two usb ports will still work if i get the card reader or are they disabled. it is more important to have operating front usb ports than an internal card reader, but i'd obvliously like to have both. thanks.

kinda unrelated, dont be fooled by the numbers, the 922 is lighter than a 932 for sure, but its not much smaller at all really... one of the main reasons i went with the 932 over the 922 is that its pretty much the same size but way better performance and better looking(imo)
922 19lbs 22.20" x 10.00" x 19.70"
932 30lbs 22.70" x 9.00" x 21.50"

as far as the usb ports, someone asked something very similar in the config section today, i dont know how it could be much of an issue since you can split usb connections, but there could be something to it that i dont know
my 932 front panel has 4 usb ports but only takes up 2 headers, they are both 2:1 split

i'm trying to keep the height of the case down as much as possible and still have decent airflow. the 922 is the most recommended that i've heard of the mid size cases..also i'm already pushing the outer limits on budget so want to keep it where it is...we'll see what others say about the front usb question. thanks!

I love my 922. I have the side panel fan added (something DS can order for you if you want them to - call them for cost). Good cooling and extremely quiet. As far as the front inputs, I have the memory card reader and both the front inputs along the top of the case and the front inputs on the memory card reader work just fine - none of them are disabled.

EDIT: If you plan on moving the case around a lot (LAN parties and whatnot), that 11 pound difference between the 922 and 933 is pretty huge.
