As the title states i just wanted to write a few words about the two new DS rigs me and my GF got. Her Hard drive went out on her old computer, it was slow and tired so we decided to get a new one. After she got one, i felt envy and decided to order my second DS machine!! We couldn't be happier with our purchases. I already knew the quality of the computers so it was a no brainer, i wont go anywhere else. Every award this company gets they deserve. Both our machines are fast, quiet and stable.
Her computer: Intel Core i7 3770K 3.50 GHz overclocked to 4.2 ASUS P8Z77-V LX (Intel Z77 Chipset) NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 1.5GB Digital Storms Vortex 120mm cooling system 16GB DDR3 1600MHz Corsair Dominator DHX 1050W Corsair Pro Silver 1050HX 1TB Western Digital/Seagate/Hitachi/Samsung (7200 RPM) Corsair Carbide 300r Case The door i added myself along with the lighting. im into it more then she is lol uploads/1945/464738_10151168225915926_231805098_o.jpg uploads/1945/278591_10151170353180926_912403102_o.jpg uploads/1945/465060_10151168226560926_964030384_o.jpg uploads/1945/478363_10151168226320926_1923018781_o.jpg And now to my Rig. Idle around 28-33 on all cores. Thank you to Brian for the help. Would also like to thank Robert for his help and advice. Take it from me, i have purchased 3 digital storm computers in the last 4 years and their customer service is hands down the best! You have a repeat customer here! I make sure to let everyone know who to go to when wanting a computer that will last for years. Hell my old computer still works great i just wanted to keep up with the times :) And by the way whoever made the loops look like the flux capacitor rocks! kernols I noticed on your wifes case that its missing all of the large rubber groumets that all of the cabling goes through to the backside of the case. Call Digital Storm up and they will send it to you. Final inspection suppose to catch this but looks like it was missed on hers. Slit the groumet on one end and you wont have to move any of the wiring.

I'm pretty sure the 300r has no rubber grommets. I do like what you did with the case.

kernols you have 2 choices on the rubber groumets.Call DS up and ask them if they will send you 4 of them or call Corsair tech support up and ask them to send you some. I have called up Corsair tech support and they helped me. My K90 keyboard light went out on one key. They sent me a brand new keyboard ASAP, no questions.

Alex:
What is the difference between the liquid cooling Stage 4 with the large tube as the first picture shows and the other one which has the Xspc Pump & Reservoir that lies at the 5.25'' drive bay. Thanks .

There really isn't any big difference, the XSPC unit has everything mounted together, the one featured in this thread has a separate reservoir and separate pump.

So i've had my computer for a few months now. Everything is running smooth! ive recently moved into a new place and the computer is running even cooler. im idling around 25 degrees on my video card and high 20's low 30's on my cpu. its playing everything without breaking a sweat. I've changed a few things like the cpu, mb and vid card cables to red. I've also added a front intake fan and it helps with the cooling. Everyone who has seen it in person always talks about the quality and how big it is lol. anyways just wanted to give an update and say thanks again to the DS Team. Mike ![]() |

This rig looks to damn good, nice configuration.
Alex how do I post a review?? Can I just post it in General Discussion and then can you do me the favor to move it to the customer reviews section? Thank you.
