HailStorm: Digital Storm Beat Down Review

Ok so, before i begin this review let me say this. this computer is so big it destroyed the top and bottom of my desk which is a good thing. now onto the review.



I have been waiting for a long time to get my hands on a awesome rig that i can call mine for years. i searched and searched until one day i got sick and was in the hospital for 3 months, i was approached by a corporation called make a wish and was offered to have any wish granted. and you can guess where this took a turn . SO what do i think about the computer your wondering?..... im not impressed........ AT HOW THESE GAMES GET BEAT DOWN BY THIS PC's AWESOMENESS SO EASILY .

So here are some specs to give you an idea of where im standing:
CPU: Intel Core i7 990x @ 4.0Ghz
Video Card: 3x GTX 580 1.5GB
RAM: 6GB DDR3 1600MHz
Chassis Model: Black OPS HailStorm Edition
PSU: 1500W Silverstone
MotherBoard: ASUS RAMPAGE III EXTREME
HDD:1TB Western Digital Caviar (7200 RPM) (64MB Cache)
Optical Drive: Blu-Ray Player/DVD Player
Optical Drive 2:DVD-R/RW/CD-R/RW (DVD Writer 24x / CD-Writer 48x)
Cooling: H20: Stage 6: Sub-Zero LCS Dual Loop: CPU & Triple SLI/CrossFire Video Cards
Display: 3x Triple Asus 3D Panels 23 inch VG236H (only 1 setup)

Issues upon opening:
-Case cover plastic is chipped on inside.
-Had SLI issues until i Tweaked and restored a few settings.
-DAMN FedEx Took to long (Not DS fault)

Overal Rating: A++++
Numbered score: 99.9998/100 (because of those small problems
DS SCORE: 100/100
FedEx Score: BLEH!

Overall Loved the computer Would totally if i ever get the money for it, would buy again. I have recommended to numerous friends that DS is in fact Pretty God Damn Awesome. Keep Up The good work guys. love to see more from you.

I have mw2 . Haven't played in in while, but rocked on it like I do at black ops.

Beat plenty of wallers and botters. If your machine is faster than theirs and you move right most can't keep up. They hate me.

Wow, are those tubes black or blue? Could you retake close up pics? They're a bit blurry compared to rest. I might want to switch rigs.

From what I know of based on the specs you listed, the system ordered was a liquid cooled unit, not a liquid chilled TEC system. That is what you have ordered. In addition, I'm not sure about the overclocks as I don't see the full receipt listed. Perhaps you can email me the serial number on the side of the system (right side panel) to: [email protected] so I can check.
