Hailstorm is massive, has tons of airflow, looks good, black interior.
950 is quite big, airflow is limited, especially with water cooling, looks good, standard metal interior. What are you looking for in terms of a case? What are your needs/wants? What kind of system are you looking to build (specs)? |

Never was a big fan of 950si tho its a great case, I say go with Hailstorm, its got extra features that are nice like hot swap bays, it fits 3 x 140mm fans and one 120mm inside.

Yep the swap bays look nice and so do the 3x14mm fans. I hope it will cost about the same as the 950Si.
I don't really care much about the case as I like the HAF 932, 950Si and the Hailstorm. I will go with watercooling and tri or quad sli later on. |

Custom DS Logo = $45.... j/k. I'm hoping the extra fans come preinstalled as per the image and that's the difference. I'm likely wrong though.

its probably part of the warranty price, they cant sell you the case for the retail price or they'd make no money

Slightly off topic if you don't mind... How does Digital Storm manage to make any money off their premades? I went to Fry's to see how much just the parts for the enthusiast 1 and it was 70$ more just to get the parts with no assembly. That certainly made my choice clear to buy from DS but I was wondering how the company itself could make any money. I was expecting at least a few hundred for all their installation and testing. Maybe buying in bulk

Yeah probably because they now are showing how many they have left. And I just realized how off topic that was.

So I'm thinking the triple radiator upgrade will cost around $80, correct me if I'm wrong.
