I have not played Halo.

The Halo: The Master Chief Collection is coming to PC next week. I have played games like Everquest, Dragon Age series, Mass Effect series and Overwatch.

Knowing that this is, in part, an older game that is being made so that it can run at 4K (I would run in 2K), would I likely enjoy the game and should buy this?

The storyline with Halo is awesome! I thought this was already out on PC? You could always subscribe to Xbox game pass: Ultimate for a month, $14.99 I believe and try it out since it is included with it. I have the game pass since I also play Xbox along with PC. If you like then buy it? if not you got to try it along with the other games include in the game pass for a month.

Maybe I had misunderstood the blurb I had seen on Green Man Gaming. I'll likely check this out during the next few months.

They just added Halo 3 to the collection. AFIK, they didn't raise the price. the original came out last December. Never played it, but it's been well regarded, and the collection gets high reviews.
