My hard drive is running too loud. I can hear it grinding something lolz... it's even louder when I open multi windows.... is there a cure? or i just need to get a new one? btw. It's 250GB SATA

Yes, definately back it up while you have a chance.  I have noticed this with a lot of older drives.  When they are on there way out it sounds like the points are literally scratching data onto the discs.
