No, typically the larger drives are faster, but it is also depends on the make and model. WD velociraptor 300Gb is faster than all typical hard drives.

the size of your HDD won't change load times, the speed and cache of the HDD will make a difference.
all and all your boot time is mainly dependent of the speed of the HDD itself then anything else. |
