Hey Guys,
I recently bought a computer from DSO and I am very happy with it. However I have one problem and I wanted to see if I could find a solution here. Basically I requested a 32GB SSD drive thinking that it would be enough for my needs. However what I didn't bank on was Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 requiring almost all of its data be installed on the primary drive. So about 6 GB worth of space is being taken by VS 2010. So now I am running out of space and I have to constantly watch it and its just not worth it. So my question is if I buy a similar Hard drive (SSD) and then install it myself, is it possible to extend the hard drive space? If so how easy is it? I've built systems before but only once have I built a gaming system and it was with extensive help from a friend. I was basically going to put them in Raid 0 configuration but I don't know if i would have to do a total reinstall of everything. |
