Hardcore Gamer, Needs Info?

Alright, we already know I like gaming, whatever- But I need help on 'customizing' a Desktop PC for hardcore gaming, but still offers great performance when it comes to having to also deal with multiple (2 - 3 Max lol) internet browsers, documents for school work etc...

The Desktop I'm stuck with right now is a HP Pavillion a6430f which I believe is a Multi-Media desktop, not necessarily for 100% gaming lifestyle. Games which I speak of include things like Company of Heros, Sims 3, Oblivion, Half-Life 2 etc, and I like maxing most of the graphics as possible, but this desktop has so much age it can't even get halfway most times without demolishing it's FPS, or crashing even... any ideas?

this build is for a monitor with res of 1900 x 1200 but if you gonna have/get a smaller monitor then drop the gpu to a 5850.

why would u give him the 5870 dst ;)
5850 is more then enough for his 19" monitor
