Would it be worth it to upgrade my computer, I play video games mostly:
Computer I have now:

12GB of ram is a waste, you got a qx9650, best wait a couple of years before you upgrade.

uh... you know what? some people would kill to get your current system, skyR is right(copyright DST4ME) donate it or something, then wait intel's tick tock to go Tock, when they make the i7's(hopefully) 32nm.

If you're mainly concerned about game performance, then keep your current computer, but upgrade your video card instead. Buy a second 280 GTX and hook them together with an SLI bridge. You should see a significant boost in most games.
