Run Malwarebytes, CCleaner or any other malware detection tools.
Antivirus scan, as well. |

Also use Task Manager to see what’s running in the background.
Sometimes a pc will slow to a crawl just to find out later that Windows for downloading an update, invisible to you. Shutdown, unplug for a few minutes and then power back up and see if that helps.
