Ordered a 5900x and 6800 xt build on 11/27 and still on stage 1 but I expected that under current conditions.

AMD isn’t coming through on their end. DS was told mid January by them, then beginning of Feb possibly. The last I saw the only CPUs they were out of was the 5900x and 5950. Your order won’t progress to stage 2 until you have a CPU assigned. It’s not on there end, as I changed my CPU and only 3 days later progressed to stage 2. :(

So are these 80 processors arriving supposedly this week actually true?

I just today received an email offering me the option to continue waiting for a 5900x, or switch processors. It said the estimated arrival time for 5900x procs is 4-6 weeks from now, and then there's still construction time. So does that mean I'm now looking well into March if waiting for a 5900x?

Yes, those are coming. However, there is a lot more than 80 on order.
