I am close to buying, just a few loose ends left.
I am trying to decide on what color or color combo will look the best in a 950Si case with stage 3 dual loop cooling.
At the moment I have selected the green UV liquid with UV light, Blue all trim accents: Chassis Vents, Grills, screws, Hose Clamps and blue LED performance fans.
My second config is Green UV liquid with UV light, green LED performance fans.
All ideas welcome....

personally i would paint the inside of the case black
get UV orange tubing/ liquid,, orange screws/clamps, then get UV lighting in the case, with blue LED's as well. complimentary colors always look good Example: Worthy from the RRR forums ![]() Edited by <8) slunK parade - 04 Nov 2009 at 7:48pm |

Just a heads up, there are a pletora of recurring issues running a i7 920 @ 20x200bclk on a classified board. I'd stick with the original choice of the i7 960.

If there is a problem DS will catch it and correct it, there is no reason to spend extra money for a 960.
if there is a problem and they can't fix it then they offer the upgrade themselves to him. |

It's a problem with the board itself, just check the evga forums. DS can't fix it, and really they shouldn't have to offer someone a free upgrade when it isn't their fault to begin with.
I agree the 960 is a waste of money though, but I also think that stage 2 OC is a waste too. ![]() |

for video editing the stage 2 oc is good but for gaming its a problem, DS has classifieds with 920 at 4.0, Alex said they have not been having problems with it yet, it was discussed in another thread.
I know its a problem with the board, as I mentioned above we have already talked about it, when I said fix it, I meant that they will find a way to work around it or call the customer up and offer them another solution, be it another mobo or another cpu. Edited by DST4ME - 08 Nov 2009 at 4:15pm |

There is no issues with a Classified board and 200x20 that I have seen. And if there was, 191x21 will work as well, or 211x19.
Stage 2 is greatly overpriced, but you have to consider it is covered under warranty, and some users like me want the highest clock possible. Edited by venom - 08 Nov 2009 at 6:19pm |

Only thing I know is that some BIOS' have had issues with the 20 multi, and I don't know why anyone would use it in the first place. |
