My 10yo son has a Digital Storm Lynx - Level 1 (MPN-3400G-APU) he bought with his own money a couple months ago Of course he downloaded garbage from the internet he shouldn't have and now he has a virus. I am not a computer expert (this is when I would hand my laptop to my IT department at work), but I think we need to reimage it. Can anyone give me the steps I need to take to fix this? I would really appreciate it. After we get this fixed, I will then get your advice on malware protection. Thank you!!

Do you have a virus or malware? If it is malware, try downloading malwarebytes free version and see if will fix it. If so, I would recommend you but the non free version, actually, you should buy it no matter what. It works very well.
