This really isn't a big problem but i would like to know the answer really, I've got my DS laptop and have loved it since, but the only thing that i've found wrong is that in games when it asks me for my default video card all it shows up is the intel HD 4000. I have an ATI radion 7970m shouldn't that chipset driver be the default? or am I an idiot or what... It won't let me disable it in the bios since it's OEM laoded im guessing but I'd just like to know, just in case i could be getting more out of my laptop and i just dont know it :P

I'm not a laptop guy, but I believe the igpu, HD 4000 in this case, is the default driver since it all goes through the igpu.  Enduro ,  AMD's Switchable Graphic software , is what determine which runs.

I believe you can right click desktop, select CCC, Catalyst Control Center, and select the game or just set to High performance mode.  Rt click desktop might have a Switchable Graphic icon to select, where the card or games can be configured.

This assumes the drivers for your discrete card are installed form the CD and are up to date.

I don't have a laptop in front of me, so some of this advice might be a bit different.
