Just wondering if I equip one of these laptops with a descrete gpu if it is connected to the HDMI output or if the Igp is. I would like to hook it up to my monitor when I am home and be able to play games on the descrete gpu.

Digital Storm only sells laptops with discrete GPUs, and if you connect a monitor through any of the video outputs it will utilize the discrete GPU for games.
