So back in 2016 i had DS build me a nice rig. currently i am running two monitors, one hdmi the other display port.  i would love to add a 3rd monitor. not for gaming but so i can watch movies while i work in desktop publishing.  the card i had installed is the GeForce GTX 1070 8GB (NVIDIA Founders Edition) (VR Ready).  can this card run a third monitor?

i have two open ports on the card but i dont know what they are. they seem more rectanglar than the funny shape of the hdmi port. no clue what they are. maybe if i had a picture of the ports on the card i could figure it out.

if i have two i would be willing to add a second graphics card.  how do i get to where i want to be?

thanks in advanceIm%20with%20Stupid

I found this photo of the GTX 1070 online. Does yours look like this?

If it does, then you should be able to run 3 monitors. The top port is DVI. Then the lower row from left to right is: DisplayPort, HDMI, DisplayPort, and DisplayPort.

Take a look at this article, and search for the word "triple". It mentions that the GTX 1070 Founders Edition supports triple monitors.

I am running that card at this moment in time with 3 monitors... And I have been for over 7 years. No worries.
