I know that there is an audiophile already here but, I thought that I would post this link for anyone who is looking for a new set of cans. I found this site to be good, and it gave me a baseline to start looking. But keep in mind that the reviews are user reviews and some people might not agree with them. Also there is a quick link to amazon if you choose to buy a set. Hope this helps.

Gee, I don't know anything about wireless phones, but did you drill down to find these? None of these would meet your needs?

As a high end audio reviewer, I have listened to all the great headphones available at all price ranges for such. Starting from $80 and going to $15,000, the audiophile market is still dominated by just two main companies. Grado is the best from the $80 to $300 range, where their reference headset peaks on price. Sennheiser is number two in that range, but their $15,000 electrostatic with vacuum tube amp is the best out there. Sennheiser is easily the most comfortable headphones you can find. They have a cordless headset, which may be decent. I don't like how restricted cordless sound can be, so I haven't bothered with those. I would recommend listening to Sennheiser's cordless at least, if that's what you need DST. They are very much aware of audio accuracy.
After all the hundreds of headphones I've listened to and reviewed, anything other than Grado or Sennheiser is a distant third. I wouldn't bother with them unless audio quality isn't top priority. |

the problem si the RF ones are OK but they you keep losing sound for a second or few. I'm looking to get ones that are either bluetooth or I'm thinking the ones running on 2.4 or 5.8GHz should have the best sound, my phone is 5.8GHz and its pretty clear.
If I find one I will post it here

apparently these are good, Amphony 2500, not bluetooth, they are 5.8GHz I was hopping to fine one by Grado or Sennheiser, but both use the 900MHz which I have had horrible experience with.
I also just learned that the bluetooth headphones will work with your bluetooth phones and if your PC is bluetooth enabled you can use them with your PC and control wmp. Edited by DST4ME - 10 Mar 2009 at 5:51am |

A quick perusal of Tiger Direct and I found two wireless headsets... Logitech is not terribly promising, though it is 2.4 Ghz... the blue ant blue tooth model really looks nice, recharges via USB, and has a detachable Microphone for multi player gaming or Skype/IP Phone type uses.

Guys I am in the market for a good pair myself, so I was just wondering how the Sennhieser PC350 were? I do not care much for 5.1 sound as most of that will be done by the CMSS of X-Fi. I would like to keep the price at $200 to $250 at max but would prefer if i were at less than $200, any ideas and suggestions would be awesome thanks.

If you are talking about wired then widdlecat said that the Sennhieser were one of the 2 top ones.

Ya, same here. I need a pair that will cover my entire ear. The Ant one's might, but they look like they'd fit on your head weird, and the reviews weren't too hot either. But thanks anyway! |

Yeah I saw the reviews, but whenever I see end user reviews of audio gear, it seems sound gear is very subjective rather than objective. I need to listen because I find one person saying the sound is 'Tinny and thin' is meaningless, as to me everything sounds fine.
I will admit, my hearing has not been great in a long time, too much time around very loud things in my youth and that has made treble my friend, the higher pitches are much easier on my ears I think, so I find things with less bass help me, not hurt me. So like most people with hearing that is not perfect, reviews mean little to me.
I am by no means deaf, just I find that too much bass jumbles sound for me, not makes it richer.

Take a look at the Sennheiser HD-595. It is generally available for a bit less than $200. I have a pair and absolutely love them. It is an over the ear design that people with glasses generally find more comfortable, but may be too big for some peoples taste.
If you prefer an on the ear design, the Grado SR125 would be a bit less money, and the SR225 a bit more. I don't think you could go wrong with either one.

Hi Samael,
You can't go wrong with Sennhieser (IMO). I own 3 pair (PC, ipod, running) and they are all fantastic sounding and comfortable.
I've been thru several brands looking for a good set of headphones and will stay with the Senns.
The PC350's look sweet. Looks like they might've come down in price when I was shopping 6 months ago. I assume you want a pair with a mic?
I was going to purchase the 350 but went cheaper with the PC 161. I've had them for awhile and am very satisfied with sound and comfort. Nice padded earcups - but not too much, and they are lightweight where I've worn them for a couple of hours and no discomfort.
Here's a link to Amazon for $59.

Samael the only thing i can recommend is that you go to a hi-fi store and have a listen for yourself. that, in my opinion is really the only way to find some that you will enjoy and feel good about the price. i have the HD-555's and they are great, give them a listen.
