My beautiful Digital Storm Lynx level 3 came this month and it's been working well. It just occurred to me that I need a headset with a mic. Any suggestions?
1. I don't want to overspend.
2. Maybe something under $50
3. I just need it to voice chat mostly
4. Not picky about sound quality, as long as it works and I can hear friends talk and they can hear me talk. :)

Logitech G430 Bestbuy - $30 real budget option but comfy Sennheiser GSP 300 Amazon - $70, one of the best options if you can stretch the budget HyperX Cloud II at Various Retailers - $70 typically.

Great option but some people have issues with the cord.

I good headset can really enhance your gaming experience. You can buy cheap and hear good two channel sound, but I prefer 7.1 headsets. I use the Razer Kraken Ultimate. Been using the Razer headsets for a long time and love them. Music sounds better, gaming............ I know exactly where the enemy is from their sound, front, side or rear. It's amazing what they can do with a quality headset anymore.

I use Steelseries Arctis 7 for 3 years. Honestly, I'm pretty satisfied, the sound is amazing. But if you need a micro as well with the headset you should buy it separately as micro is very weak here.
