Ok I've read through the Configuration Forum but I'm going to ask for help anyway. I have a DS system now and love it but my son is going to need a computer before long so i'm going to buy myself a newer build and give him mine. Here is what I'm working with

1. system purpose; purely gaming I surf around the net but its only real purpose to play online games

2. type of games; FPS's I only really play Project Reality and BF2 online.

3. reason to play; I play with my clan for fun not really competitively

4. monitor size; I have a 22" 1600x1200 and I cant imagine going any bigger to be honest I might go back to a 20"

Noise isnt a major concern as I almost always play with head phones on and my budget well i'm not trying to impress anybody but I can easily afford a 950si and just find the most exspesive components but I dont think that is what I need. This is my current system and I would obviously want to step up.

it would certainly help to have a price range but based off what im reading id go with something near this

if you have some more specific price restrictions or hardware requests that would help, but this system is powerful and comes with a nice price tag

Thats a good build at a very solid price !ender put together for you.

If you arn't going to Crossfire ever due to your monitor size I might go with the GTX280 and take advantage of the physics processor that comes with it.

Let us know a few more details of what you want though.

And I see your in Iraq... Thank you for your service to your country.
