I currently play Lord of the Rings Online. And my current computer is unable to handle high graphics and the huge amounts of people PvPing when a big battle starts up, so I'm looking to build a computer that can easily handle the best graphics and all the intensities of battles without any lag on my part.
Can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction of what I need?

Around 2,000$ would be a good area. |

With that budget here is another build that will increase your hard drive space and speed by usuing 2-320 Gig drives in a raid 0. It also includes a Sound card, lighting and enhanced cabling.

Thanks for all the help so far, I took some time to build up one of my own, and wanted to see what you guys thought of it.

I think you underestimate the importance of a good case as a solid foundation from which to build a system, and will regret almost immediately the decision to try and run those components inside of that enclosure.
I would drop SLI from a build and go to the 8800 GTS if I were looking for just a little more muscle than a standard 8800GT before trying to run that config without adequate cooling. Link Edited by Tyler Lowe - 22 Feb 2008 at 12:52pm |

Hmm, I wasn't sure the casing was such an important thing, but I can see why. I noticed you stepped the cooling system up a bit, but would that be adequate, or should I look into going up another step?
Below is my current build for a computer, and I'm wondering if this is any better.
